  • “We always remember the best teachers, which is a tribute to how important they are in shaping our lives.  I will never forget Señora Romence, and how she fostered in me a love of language, travel, music, and education.  Her love of teaching taught me to love learning.”

    -Laura Helderop, Attorney

  • "Sra. Romence does more than teach Spanish; she instills a love for lifelong learning that extends beyond the classroom. This book is a blueprint for how all teachers should conduct themselves, and it will inspire generations to come."

    -Torie Lynn, Attorney

  • “Señora Romence was more than a Spanish teacher.  She taught language through the cultural context that set me up to be a professional tour guide. Now, 20 years on, I find myself still going back to the lessons that she taught me, the Spanish, but also the cultural context that she built in class for us to understand the country.”
